Joyce, J.D. Personal: Bill Joyce was born and raised in Butte, Montana. He has chosen to live and work in Butte to be near family and friends. Bill and his wife Helen have five children. Education: Bill went to law school at the University of Montana School of Law where he was named Outstanding Student of the Year in the year of his graduation, 1988. Bill has been practicing law in the Mining City ever since graduating from law school in 1988. Member: Montana Bar Association, Montana Trial Lawyers Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Prior work history:Bill is a second generation Butte attorney, learning the trade at his father's firm as a principal attorney with Burgess, Joyce & Whelan. Terry J. MacDonald,
J.D. Personal: Terry grew up in Butte. His personal interests include golf, basketball, and football. He has volunteered his time coaching basketball, grading bar exams for the State Bar, and has been active in fund raising for the University of Montana and the United Way. Terry and his wife Alyssa have two children. Education: Terry graduated with honors from the University of Montana School of Law in 1988. Member: Montana Bar Association, Western Montana Bar Association and American Bar Association. Prior work history:Terry has been a practicing attorney for nearly twenty years most recently as partner with Garlington, Lohn & Robinson in Missoula, Montana. He has extensive jury trial experience in both state and federal courts throughout Montana, and has an "AV" rating (the highest lawyer rating) in the Martindale-Hubble Law Directory. Legal Practice Areas: Terry's practice has included personal injury, toxic tort and business litigation. His primary focus is on serious injury cases. Terry has been effectively trying cases for insurance companies and big business for nearly twenty years. Now he has decided to use that experience to effectively advocate for you and your family.
